Description: Atlantic spotted dolphin (Stenella frontalis) Length: 229 cm, Animals of this species are not always spotted, like the smaller or more gracile dark form occurring in the Gulf Stream and central North Atlantic, or so heavily spotted and therefore almost white like the large form which is found on both sides of the Atlantic. Usually, spots first appear at 2-6 years of age and increase in size and density up to 16 years, Photo taken in El Qusier, Red Sea, Egypt.
