 Re: What is the weirdest object found while diving?
Found on the same day on the same dive in West Wales.... An old doll's head and an (unexploded) shell. This was the military type not the hermit crab or scallop type.
The doll's head got tie-wrapped to the back of the RIB and got christened Devil Doll.
The shell was taken home by my buddy as a trophy and later on that evening, when the girlfriend of the finder came home, Brecon Bomb squad was called, the street was cordoned off and eventually they took it away.
And he thought he could polish it up and display it on the mantelpiece. D'oh. |
