Talking Re: Red Sea Sharks

Yes I got up around 5.30 and we were leaving in the zodiac around 6,from memory! We were around 30-35 m when we saw the first lot over the northern plateau and then a bit later at about 20m.

I didn’t see Oceanic’s while diving (a bit too early apparently I went in August) however when my mate and I had finished our dive and waiting for the others on the zodiac we jumped in to snorkel with some dolphins we spotted earlier and ended up right in front of an Oceanic I don't know who was more freaked out! That was a very near encounter..

I went there on my own last year a little bit apprehensive about meeting people but I needn’t have worried, I met some top people and even met my dive buddy on the bus from the airport. We stay together the whole time, at mealtimes no-one sits on their own, it's just not that type of holiday.
