Default scuba certification

About scuba certifications, what would be the most international one? I am asking that because I'd like to have a certification that allows me to scuba all around the globe and maybe one day also work as a diving instructor. I'd love to travel around the world and do a job that's my passion.
Thanks for your advice.

Smile Re: scuba certification

The most widely recognised certification agency world-wide is PADI (Professional Assicoation of Diving Instructors) Being certified with PADI will enable you to dive all over the world. Employment opportunities are also no problem if you may decide to become a PADI professional sometimes in the future.
I like to compare PADI with Mricrosoft. There is some smaller organsisations which provide a great product, but on the whole, the big ones dominate, and sometimes also dictate the market.
PADI is a great training agency and provides all you need, whether it is warm or cold water diving.
Have fun and I hope this helps

Mako is on a distinguished road
Default Re: scuba certification

Yes, there are other certification agencies out there that are also recognized in many countries. But PADI is the biggest and you will find PADI diving centers everywhere.
If you want to become a pro then definitely it is the right choice. Go for PADI.
