Cool diving refresher course

Hi,
Does something like a diving refresher course exist? I did a PADI open water diver course 2 years ago I and never dived again since. I'd really like to come back to diving.

Yes refresher courses exist. You don't need to do your diving course all over again!
What is you plan?
To dive again on your next holiday?
Or to make diving your sport and dive regularly around your home?
Where are you from?

Default Re: diving refresher course

There are a couple of options you have. Not being diving for two years will need a bit of a Refresher. As you are a PADI Open Water Diver, I assume you will be looking for a PADI Dive Centre for your diving needs. The PADI Refresher Program is called "Scuba Tune Up". This is usually a one day proogram which is refreshing not only your diving skills but also looks into the theroetical side of diving such as dive planning etc. Most diving centres also included an open water dive to add excitment. Go and ask your for your PADI Scuba Tune Up to get back into the swing of diving.
I am sure you will have a great time with this easy step to get you back in the water.
Always safe diving

Smile Re: diving refresher course

Thanks for the good news guys,
I am living in the UK and I intend to practice diving around the UK over the weekends and of course during my holiday visits to tropical seas.

Ok Freak, then it's easy. Go to UK diving guide, there you will find on the left, along others boutons, one leading you to the diving centers list and another to the diving clubs. It should be easy for you to find a club or a DC near your home to do your diving refresher course and find buddies for your next dives. As DiveDevil1966 wrote, it is called by PADI a PADI Scuba Tune Up. Keep us posted in the UK forum about the good dive sites you find ;-)
