What the diving portals need to be more effective?

I have been thinking what the people have in thier mind when they start a diving website...all what they think is commercials and fast cash,nobody care for the value any more.

I had a walk through Scuba diving - GoodDive.com
and they have pretty interesting sections where you can fullfill your needed information about diving,they have a nice diving directory and diving guide.

they are covering some good topics and destinations and what i hope that they continue in the same way...and dont get lost in the cash high drift.
