Diving in Sri Lanka

Dear All,

I'm planning on going diving in Sri Lanka somewhere next month. I'll be there for 3 weeks. One week in Colombo, one in Galle & One in Kalpitiya.

Anyone know anything that I can do while diving in these areas? (Cultural sites, wildlife safaris, adventure, etc)

I need some help planning this out. Hope you guys will help me out.

I was in Sri Lanka last year with my boyfriend for Diving & I learnt that they have almost 300 shipwrecks & multiple reefs, around the island, magnificent corals, Whales & Dolphins, etc.

While in Kalpitiya I visited the Wilpattu National Park (Leopards, Elephants, spotted Deer, etc) & also Anuradhapura ancient city (UNESCO World Heritage site) - Jaw dropping experience of this hidden away country's culture.

In Trincomalee I visited the Pigeon Island - nice corals & fish. Also went Whale & Dolphin watching.

Had a nice time in Sri Lanka. Would recommend you to visit this place.

Sri Lanka is a fantastic island!
You should visit the ancient city of Anuradhapura and the Yala national park!
