Hi, as you sure realized; I'm the "new guy" here. I just found this forum and asked myself why i haven't found it earlier... So, let's get started.
About me:
I'm a scuba diver, divemaster, since 10 years and i happen to have spent most of them on the scuba diving island Koh Tao, in southern Thailand. I'm sure many of you know the place or even have been here. Koh Tao is also the place where i fell in love with scuba diving. Nowadays, I'm still diving a bit, but only for a hobby.
My profession:
I'm an Internet marketer; who would have guessed... Basically I design websites and i bring them to the first page of the search engines for their desired key phrases. But that's as i said; basically. There is a lot more involved than that.
Since we have Web 2 overtaking the good old Internet, website owners are required to do a lot more than just setting up a nice website to find themselves on the top of the rankings. Websites have to be maintained Weekly and not just every 6 or 12 month as i'm sure most of you do. Sites and articles have to be bookmarked to social bookmarking sites such as the brand new
Yahoo Buzz, Digg, Delicious and many more.
Guys, if you are not sure if that is something you should consider doing, please take the article above as an example. Type(or copy/past)
New Social Bookmarking Site into Google and find my article on page one most probably on the very top, out of millions of results (I see 125.000.000 & #1). That happened within 2 days after publishing the article. That's not because of the right keywords on the right place alone, so bookmark your sites, buzz'em digg'em and whatever you can find on social networking sites; add your website!
As you can see, I'm very enthusiastic about my work, and drifted off the stage once more. Back to the introduction part...
Hobbies:
First of all scuba diving - sure - but than there is also sailing, shooting pictures and some Thai Boxing involved here. The latter more from outside of the ring, but that's another story. And for the rest, I'm single, still, seems that I can't find a lady who can keep up with my computer geek livestyle. - I have to admit; my working hours are odd
