New to Diving and Equipment

Hello All,

I have just recently recieved my open water certification and am excited about continuing to dive.. My question is..I certified in the Caribbean and live in Michigan. Im am not really sure what to purchase for being able to dive both in salt water and fresh water in Michigan. Not familiar with name brands, this is for recreation so I dont need top of the line but I dont want to buy garbage either. Any assistance would be very helpful.
