HELP! - I need help on my company logo from the members here!

I am redeveloping my website and there is a very emotive argument between my web designer and Marketing Director as to which logo for the company is best.

What I need to know is what divers think rather than the marketing/spin/designers in my business think.

As a business we have operations in both UK and Asia so I have to try to account for the differences between Brits and Asians.

The new logo shows more clear the services of your company (prescription lenses for dive masks and swimming goggles), in the old one it's small and not good to read, but the style of the old website in my opinion is more attractive.
