Default Liveaboard in Red Sea

Visiting this forum since quite a while and finding a lot of interesting posts, I decided to join the community.
Before I passed my OWD in May, I didn’t know, that diving is addictive.
I’m planning now my next holidays, and I am wondering if anybody has good advice for doing a liveaboard in the Red Sea

Default Re: Liveaboard in Red Sea

Hi eagleray,
I read your post, perhaps I can give you an advice.
There are a lot of companies offering liveaboards in the Red Sea...different prices, different standards..., not easy to choose.
Most of the serious operators ask for a minimum of 30 to 50 logged dives as precondition for the liveaboards, which is reasonable! You will find more difficult diving conditions during a liveaboard concerning current, deep water and wrecks then you are used maybe from shore diving.
Be aware that you are still a beginner in diving, so decide carefully, if you like to have a safe trip.
