Default Wreck diving in Malta

Hi,
I'm planning to go diving to Malta next year.
Is there anybody who has knowledge about the wrecks down there (names, laocation, depth)? Or maybe a recommendation for a diving centre which offers wreck diving?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi bluedolphin,

if you are a wreck freak you will be able to spend your complete holiday in Malta under water!
I’ve still not seen all yet! One of the famous is the MV Rozi. It was sunk by purpose about 20 years ago, max. depth 36m, always good visibility and lot of fish. You dive from the shore, the way towards the wreck is marked by a buoy. The “Um el Faroud” was an oil tanker, it’s located close to the Blue Grotto in the north, max. depth 35m. The wreck of the HMS Stubborn, which was a British submarine is recommended only for experienced divers, because of the depth (about 55m) and sometimes strong currents. There are many more which are worth to dive them.
Among others, the centres “Discover Malta Diving” and “Divewise Malta” are offering wreck dives.
I hope these information will help you

I've been diving at the Blenheim Bomber something more than 1 year ago. It's located in the South, Coast of Delimara.
If you get the chance to visit it, it's a must! Really impressive! But note, it's a dive for experienced divers only, cause it's deep (max. 42m) and sometimes there are strong currents, so the descend has to be fast, by holding on to a shot line from the boat.
The visibility usually is great down there, around 35-40m! Unfortunatelly the wreck started already to break apart, so probably it will be completely gone after a couple of years.
