Best Fiji Dive Resorts?

I am going to Fiji for two weeks. What are some recommendations to experience a variety of great diving in slightly pampered environments. I was thinking of going to 2 different resorts so we could have different experiences without too much disruption to the r&r. What do you think the best resorts are? If this is my one and only trip to Fiji, what is not to be missed?

Hi eedive,
I've been diving in Bligh Water, really worth to do it!! Almost on each dive we saw sharks (hammerheads, black tips) and huge schools of baracuda. But the best is to do it as a liveaboard. If you prefer a resort, you might try the West of Viti Levu. The barrier reef off its coast offers plenty of dive sites for divers of all levels. The abundance of soft and hard coral is amazing. We also saw frequently sharks and other big ones.
However, there are too many good places on Fiji, one trip is not enough! I will definitely go again (as soon as my budget allows )

Hi Sirius. Thanks for your reply. Got back from Fiji last night and I have to say I agree with you. We were on a liveaboard and got to dive the Bligh Waters as well as other areas. Saw hammerheads, mantas, lots of fich and beautiful coral. Great diving. Dove near Gau too. Wish I had spent the second week differently (we were at Pac Harbor and dove Beqa), but that just means I need to go back to Fiji!
