I am diving at Cozumel but flying into Cancun.Is it easy to catch the ferry to Cozumel from the mainland??? Also leaving Cozumel how long does it take to get to the airport in Cancun???

When you arrive in Cancun, take a taxi which takes you to Playa del Carmen. This takes about 35 to 40 minutes. There is also a bus going to Playa del Carmen. This will take a bit longer and it stops quit often. However the busses are very comfortable and air conditioned. Neither the bus nor the taxi will be able to drop you off directly at the ferry dock when arriving in Playa. Depending on how much luggage you have, you may need some help. There is plenty of people around helping you for a couple of Dollars. They have little bikes and will take the luggage direclty to the ferry. Bigger pieces will go in the front of the ferry. This is all very safe and you will get a number to pick it up at the other end.
The trip is taking about 40 miuntes. when arriving in Cozumel, just get off the ferry, pick up your luggage and the walk of the dock. Taxi are very well organised and easily available taking you to your hotel.
Cozumel is a lovely place and I have very fond memories of that place. I am sure you will have a great time and enjoy the island.
