Hi mel,
Liveaboard or daily diving?
You will be alone or a couple with a non diver?
Me I love Marsa Alam in the South but if you give me some more details I can advice more.

hey Mako

Liveaboard or daily. though i think daily would suit me best. I guess it is juat about trying to get to the best dives. I will be going on my own so no dive buddy or non diver to worry about
Thanks mel

ok clear now,
For wrecks the Norths wreck tour on lieveaboard is best you will see top wrecks belonging to the top 10 worlwide.
For sharks and walls the Brothers only available on liveaboard.
Top mixt destination deep South including St. Johns Rocky and Zabargad in the same liveaboard trip.
For shore dives Marsa Alam, Ask for a one day trip to Elfinstone (Drift dive along a distant reef). Maybe Hamerhead shark. For dolfines: Samadai.
Have fun and lots of GoodDives.
If you need more details about one of those destination don't hesitate to ask.
Mako

hey Mako thanks.

Am thinking maybe marsa alam! Would like to see turtles dolphins sharks and rays and lots and lots of fish and marsa alam seems to be the best bet? Would like to do some boat dives too so i am not always diving off the shore. thanks for your very helpful advice. any suggestion on a dive operator to go with?

In Marsa Aalam you could maybe try Emperor Divers. They are a well established diving center with a good reputation and are located in the Marina Lodge in Port Ghalib (just 5 minutes from the Marsa Alam International Airport). Another one you could try is Aquarius Diving. This one is located in a tent camp, the Awlad Baraka Camp. You can visit their respective websites if you go to gooddive.com on the vacations page. You go to Red Sea diving centers and choose Marsa Alam...you will then be able to visit their websites. Hope this helps and let me know if you need any further info. Cheers.
