Rep Power: 0 | | Re: bahamas diving advice? For more diving, I recommend catching an island hopper to Bimini .Sites in Bimini are consistently rated high by divers for big animals, healthy reefs, abundant sea life and more.
I would rather spend more on the diving and sites than on a place to stay. A simple and clean motel would be perfect.
Have fun |

Compass Point is the perfect choice for guests who value simplicity, comfort, creativity and romance.
Orange Hill Beach Inn
The Orange Hill Beach Inn combines the charm of the family islands and all the conveniences of home.

Rep Power: 10 | | Bahamas diving Definitely in Nassau Stuart Cove is a good choice... I did a few dives with them and they are located in one of the best areas for diving. I did my shark awareness certification there and it was a great experience. That's for New Providence.
For Grand Bahamas don't miss the caves... The Under Water Explorer Society can be a good address.

Mako | i agree with this, but i will say that a lot depends on your needs. If you are mainly looking for diving, then a liveaboard would be the most cost effective way to accumulate the most bottom time (and they often go to areas that simply cannot be reached by land-based operators). Some of these guys operate from south Florida, and motor across to the Bahamas, and this would save you the cost of flying in to the islands. Not all of these people make much of a landfall in the Bahamas, however, and if you were looking for island activities, this might not be your cup of tea, and if you can get to there you can soak up some of that Nassau ambience along with the dive trip. I love those little buses they have which go just about everywhere and cost so little to ride. Beats a taxi all hollow) If you want to reach the outer islands, your choices narrow and the cost starts going up. It all depends on what you want (and the size of your pocketmoney). Good luck. |

Found a great decongestion and gen health vitamin in diver's boost but need a motion natural option just in case. If anyone is looking for natural decogestion and dive vitamins check out www.diversboost.com works great just need a motion pill now. Maybe ginger? |
