Diving in Australia

Our dive shop is considering a week of diving on the Spirit of Freedom dive boat. Does anyone have info on this boat? Also, the shop was offered two months for the trip, Feb and Jul. Information I researched seemed to indicate that you can expect a lot of rain in Jul so I'm not sure if that is a good time. Any thoughts on which month would be better?
