Diving West Palm Beach Area

Well I have been home for a week and my buddy and I have decided while it is still warm in Florida to try the West Palm area. After reading post here, reviewing articles in Scuba Mag. and Alert Divers we thought this would be a good area to try. Have all are arrangements made, dive shop, accomodations etc and even found the golf courses to play-hey have to do something in our out of water time.
Looking forward to this trip and hope it measures up to everything I have read about, after all it is much easier and cheaper to go to Florida than flying to the islands, which I do twice a year.

Hi,I suggest a late afternoon (around 5) walk on the beach can be very romantic. Even a walk down Flagler Drive along the Intracoastal Waterway or the Palm Beach trail which travels along the Intracoastal and behind some gorgeous homes Stroll down Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach - dinner, drinks - you'll find it there as well as at CityPlace. Both places are great day or night - although night I'd say is more romantic. Keep in mind at Christmas, there will be lots of people.The best place by far is Blue Boar..off of Palm Beach Lakes behind the Denny's..It is a true dive bar with homemade goodness... They serve up food until 4:20am..and are open 7days until 5am ..The best grilled cheese (american ,cheddar ,mozz and bacon)and homemade chicken noodle soup by far! My husband and I drive 20 min into West Palm just for the food! u must!!
Take a leisurely drive down A1A (don't speed!) and take in the spectacular views of our beautiful ocean.
