Grand Bahama

My wife doesn't like to fly so we plan to take the Discovery ferry to Grand Bahama. As we have never been there, I need some help with the trip planning.
Are there any other ferry services to the Bahamas?
Where should we stay in Grand Bahama?
What dive operator should I use? I prefer reef dives and would like to do a shark dive. I am advanced certified.
Good restaurants? Neither of us like seafood.
Is there an efficient way to go from island to island without flying?

There are lots of deserted beaches out east. Grand Bahama had dozens of bars, restaurants and shops, casino, water sports and some nature parks. I preferred Ferry services to the Bahamas from Utila to La Ceiba to Roatan. Atlantis is a pretty good hotel, to stay in Grand Bahamas. The new restaurant at Island Seas was ok we peeked at the breakfast and buffet. Cape Santa Maria on Long Island has a 4 mile there is no nightlife but has to be one of the most relaxing places in the Bahamas, good luck you will be in the boon docks of the bahamas.
