UK dive sites

I am taking some well earned time off work this summer to catch up with my diving, and although there are loads of directories and listings online I find there's nothing like personal experience - so I was wondering if anyone on this board had suggestions for 'must see' dives around the UK coastal waters.

I am looking to do everything from wrecks to reefs and everything else and just fancy sites that have a lot to offer visually. I'm especially interested in seeing the marine life around the UK, so would really appreciate if you have any info about when and where the best time is to see any of them.

I appreciate any help or pointers, or even just suggestions of where your favourite sites are.

Must see dive sites in the UK have to include St Abbs, Farnes, Lundy, Scapa .. to name just a few - there is also some excellent diving around the Cornish, Devon, Dorset and Pembrokshire coastlines. Ive also had some cracking dives around Sussex. My favourite UK dives last year were with the seal pups in the Farnes in September and the wreck of the Robert in Lundy and the James Eagan Layne out of Plymouth.

I can totally recommend Farnes. Been there with a bunch of friends and it was really wonderful.
