The Philippines diving is spectacular. The volcanic eruptions in the area have given the Philippines great landscapes and underwater areas. Philippine Islands lie North of the Malay Peninsula in South East Asia.
From North to South, the archipelago extends over nearly 1850 kilometers.

There is a possibility of typhoons in the Central and Northern areas from June to November.

The diving season lasts from early November to the end of May,
with March tending to be the peak in the diving season.
Philippines diving offers a lot of different kinds of diving from fresh water caves in the country inland to strong current
drift dives along walls.
The Philippine Archipelago consists of 7,107 islands many of which are fringed by coral reef.
Philippines most famous diving area is the Visayan islands in the center of the Archipelago but there are lots of great places less dived but not less spectacular. Many areas still wait to be discovered. Invertebrates, especially sea slugs, attract many divers to Anilao's reefs.
Moalboal, a 2 hour and a half bus ride from Cebu City on the west coast.
Pescador Island, 20 minutes by banca offers some of the finest diving in Moalboal.
Whale sharks have been spotted in open waters on the South and to the Northeast, at 33 to 40 meters on the edge of the reef groups of
hammerhead sharks gather. Two great dives are the Pescador
Cathedral, an undersea formation resembling a giant funnel which drops to 115 feet and the Lionfish Cave.
Fauna and flora highlights: Whalesharks; hammerhead sharks and many more common sharks. Huge manta rays; stony corals;
soft corals; worms; crustaceans and echinoderms.
